Leo meets Henry for the first time...

Leo stayed with my parents while we were in the hospital. They brought him up to meet his baby brother on Saturday morning. Kevin carried him in while I was holding Henry in bed. Leo was sooo sweet when he saw us and whispered, tiny baby. He was so interested in him and wanted to see his toes, fingers and eyes. He wanted to hold him and kiss and love him right away. It was such a special moment, Kevin and I were both in tears watching our boys meet each other for the first time.

Car Wash

Leo is obsessed with cars. He plays with cars and trucks all day long. He has a full toy room but prefers to play with the same cars over and over again! One night we set up a car wash and he cleaned all of his cars until they were very shiny. He only charged 3 pennies per wash!

Fall fun with the Grandmas!

This week, Leo and I went to the apple orchard with Ammie and the Arboretum with Mimi. He is so lucky to have both sets of grandparents live close by. It was such a beautiful week, we had so much fun exploring outside with the Grandmas!

Friday Night Lights!

Kevin and I took Leo to the Chanhassen High School football game on Friday night. Leo loved every minute! It was a 5:00 game so we thought it would be the perfect night to go. Little did we know, it was Senior night, the last home game, Youth Sports night and they were playing our biggest rivals- Chaska. It was packed!!! My overly pregnant belly scored us some great isle seats and we sat and cheered on the Storm. Leo kept yelling Touchdown and loved all of the treats that go along with a football game. The nice man next to us gave him a foam finger to wave and he would jump up and cheer with it. Our seats were next to the student section and as I watched the game with Leo, I felt so thankful that he is still little and likes to sit on my lap and cuddle. I am pretty sure I never want him to grow up and go to high school. He is at such a fun age and brings so much joy to our lives. We love spending time with him and hope that he will always enjoy spending time with us :)

Apple Orchard- Part 2!

We love fall and going to the apple orchard! Last weekend we took Leo to our favorite orchard- Deardorff Farms. It is a small, quaint orchard with animals, hay bales, cinnamon donuts, tractor rides and of course apples! The farm is beautiful with rolling hills and colorful trees. Leo loved seeing the animals and following the dog, Smokey, around. We were there for 3 hours!

Fun at Emma Krumbees!

Kevin, Leo and I spent a beautiful fall Sunday at Emma Krumbees apple orchard. There were so many fun things to do!!! We picked apples and raspberries, saw the scarecrows, played on the playset, rode on the tractor, sat on the horses, played in a kids band, rode on the train and ate lots of treats!!! Leo loved every minute of it. He ate so many apples and raspberries we hardly had any to bring home! Kevin and I are really trying to soak up every minute we have with Leo before the baby arrives. We know that things will change and our alone time with Leo will be significantly less so we are really cherishing every minute we have as a family of 3.
