Merry Christmas! Leo had a wonderful first Christmas. We had a great time celebrating with family, eating yummy food, opening presents and playing in the snow. On Christmas Eve we went to church at Westwood (Leo did great, he loved the music, lights and people) and then went back to my parents house. After a brief photo shoot, everyone wants a pic with the baby, Leo opened his presents and played with his new toys. He loved watching me rip open the paper and he loved all of his presents so much he wanted to eat them (literally). He got so many fun things- thank you to everyone for being so generous! After Leo was finished opening his presents, he put his Christmas jammies on and went to bed. Then the real party started! It was nice to enjoy dinner and open our presents without the little one to take care of. We stayed at my parents house that night and were planning on going home the next morning but with all of the ice and snow we decided to stay around. We spent a lot of time outside playing in the snow and building a snowman. On Christmas night we played games and opened tomptee gifts (from the naughty elves...) It was a good time had by all. The next day we went to the Allen's to celebrate and spend time together. Leo enjoyed watching everyone open their gifts and was once again spoiled with so many nice presents! Thankyou everyone!!! He is so excited for next Christmas when he will have a little cousin to play with (Jenny is due in April). On Saturday night Leo, Kevin and I celebrated Christmas at our house and then went to Lions Tap for dinner. It was so fun to share all of our Christmas traditions with Leo this year. It was so special to spend the holidays with both of our families!!!
On Sunday, Leo was baptised by Pastor Rod at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie. That is the church that I grew up going to and Pastor Rod is the person who married us so it was so special to have him baptise Leo. We asked Andy, Charlie, Molly and Michael to be the Godparents. Leo did great during the service and LOVED standing in front of the congregation. He smiled and kicked his legs throughout the entire baptism. When it was time for the water, he smiled and squealed. Somehow he knew it was his special day! After the baptism, my parents hosted a brunch at their house. Once again everyone was very generous and gave Leo such beautiful and meaningful gifts. It was such a special day.

Big Boy Bathtub!
We gave Leo a bath in our big jacuzzi tub for the first time. He really liked it! He was kicking and splashing around. When he was finished, I took him out and laid him down to dry him off and get him dressed. He started "eating" his toes as usual and I thought it was so cute I needed a picture. Well, I took a little too long because when I went to get him dressed he was soaking wet. I couldn't figure out where the water had come from and then I realized that he peed all over his squeaky clean body! We had to go back to the bathroom for a another rinse! Luckily Kevin was just getting in the shower so he took Leo with him to clean him off. Leo had his first big bath and his first shower on the same day!
